Does porn cause erectile dysfunction?
Pornography may alter the brain's response to arousal, making a person less likely to get aroused by a real-life partner. The usage of sex toys may desensitize nerves in the penis, making getting an erection more difficult since the nerves require more physical stimulation. According to studies, between 17 percent to 58 percent of males who self-identify as heavy/compulsive/addicted porn users suffer from sexual dysfunction. Basically, research shows that the more porn is consumed, the more likely one is to have sexual dysfunction. This implies that there is a link between pornography and erectile dysfunction, yet this is not always the case, as erectile dysfunction can be caused by a variety of physical and psychological issues.
