Disability & Sex
My partner has a disability what should I consider?
If you are having sex with a person with a disability, consider speaking to your partner about these things: 1. how the disability affects how their body works, 2. where it is easier to have sex (maybe on the bed, wheelchair, floor etc). 3. What position hurts or could be more comfortable. It can be strange to discuss so frankly, but having these conversations can help prevent awkwardness in the future. If your partner with disability doesn't know what would work best for them, take this as an opportunity to find out together.
