Sexual Orientation
What does it mean to be asexual?
Refers to a person who isn't attracted to other people sexually. Relationships, attraction, and arousal are all different for asexual people. Asexuality differs from celibacy and sexual abstinence, which are both voluntary practices, in that it is a sexual orientation that does not necessarily imply any of these. Ace is a common abbreviation. Asexual persons can still choose to engage in sex and have romantic and sexual partners, although their desire for sex is nor present.
