What is a Cribiform Hymen?

The hymen is a remnant tissue that covers part of the opening of the vagina. The Cribiform hymen is a congenital disorder (it is present at birth) that means the hymen has many small holes in it. Some of the symptoms may be: abdominal pain, pain during sexual intercourse or pain inserting/removing tampon.
