What is the role of the fallopian tubes?
A woman has two fallopian tubes, one on each side, stretched from the ovaries to the uterus. These tubes carry an egg from one of the ovaries each month, and the egg gets to the uterus. The fallopian tubes connect the ovaries to the uterus and the womb.
