Is my vaginal discharge normal?

You should not worry about your vaginal discharge if you cannot smell a strong unpleasant smell, have white/clear discharge, have thick/sticky discharge and are slippery and wet. You typically get more vaginal discharge when you are sexually active, pregnant or using birth control. Vaginal discharge also changes as you go through your cycle. However, if it starts to smell fishy, has a colour and consistency similar to cottage cheese, changes colour to green or yellow, or you experience pain, bleeding, or sores, then you may have an infection. If you experience any of these symptoms then you should go and speak to your doctor or gynae.
