What Is the Treatment for Hymen Variants?
Treatment for Hymen Variants such as Imperforate Hymen, Microperforate Hymen, Cribiform Hymen, Septate Hymen and others can be treated by a minor out patient surgery called hymenectomy (sometimes referred to as hymenotomy). The hymenectomy is a procedure that removes the extra tissue of the hymen. Make sure to always ask your gynaecologist about the different treatments that are most suitable for you.
