Can people with disabilities have children?

A lot of people assume that disabled people will have disabled children but the chances of having a disabled child is equal between abled and diabled women. That means that the chances an abled woman will give birth to an abled child is the same as a disabled woman giving birth to an abled child. Very few disabilities are hereditary and disabled parents are just as capable of being loving and caring parents as abled parents - they just might need some help with certain tasks.
