Can anyone be asexual?
Deep-rooted racism and the colonial history of hyper-sexualizing and eroticizing people of color also contribute to the idea that only white people are asexual, even within ace spaces, The 2019 Ace Community Survey1, a community-driven web survey that started in 2014, polled 10,184 aces and found that 4.5% identified as Asian/Pacific Islander, 2.8 % identified as Hispanic or Latinx, and 1.7% identified as Black.
