Gender
What is the difference between sex and gender?
Sex is assigned at birth, normally by a doctor and include the person's physiological features and genitalia. Gender is how the person identifies themselves, be it non-binary, female, male and so on. One's gender may be aligned with the sex assigned at birth, this means the person is cisgender. If the person's gender is not aligned with the sex assigned as birth they might identify as transgender.
