Shall I use perfume for my vagina when on my period?

Using perfumes on your vagina is not recommended, as perfumes can trigger vaginitis. This is when the body will react to the perfume with symptoms including itching, redness and heavy vaginal discharge. If you have used perfume for your vagina, you can wash yourself with unscented soap and water or an unscented baby wipe.
