Genital Hygiene
Will my child be more prone to get a UTI if he doesn't get circumcised?
So far no scientifically sound studies have shown that there is a correlation between circumcision and frequent UTIs. The study that first reported this finding has been criticised for not accurately counting how many children had actually gotten circumcised or not or whether or not their foreskin had been forcibly pulled back, which can introduce harmful bacteria leading to UTIs. Thus, treatment for frequent UTIs should not be circumcision. Antibiotics should be effective. Consult with your doctor if you would like more information.
