What is miscarriage and how is that different from stillbirth?
The loss of a fetus during the first 23 weeks of pregnancy is known as a miscarriage. There are many reasons why women can experience a miscarriage. It is important to note that most miscarriages do not occur due to the mother's fault. Unfortunately, the reason for miscarriage often goes unidentified. Most miscarriages are due to abnormal genetic problems in the baby. If you think you are experiencing any symptoms of miscarriage, such as vaginal bleeding, it is essential to contact your doctor right away. On the other hand, a stillbirth is when the baby dies after 24 weeks of pregnancy. If you are worried that your baby is moving less, you must contact your doctor as soon as possible. Some possible reasons why stillbirth occurs are placenta complications, congenital disabilities, or significant problems in the mother's health. However, unfortunately, some could not identify the cause for stillbirth.
