Pregnancy & Sex
What position should I use to have sex whilst pregnant?
While most couples enjoy sex during pregnancy, some adjustments may need to be made as the body changes. You can take it as an opportunity to explore new ways of having sex. Sex with your partner on top can be unpleasant early in pregnancy, not just because of the growing belly, but also because your breasts may be painful. It might also be uncomfortable if your spouse penetrates you too deeply. It may be preferable to lie on your sides, either facing each other or behind your companion. You might even experiment with being on top during sex or being entered from behind while on your hands and knees. Make yourself at ease by using pillows.
