When can I have sex after I gave birth to my child?

It's important to wait a few weeks before you have sex with your partner. Your uterus will need to repair itself after giving birth, waiting a while to have sex again would aid the process. Usually one has to wait around 4-6 weeks. However, this depends on how ready both parties are to have sex and whether there were any complications at birth
