BDSM/Kink
I want to try out BDSM but I am scared that things get out of control. What can I do?
It is important to read and educate ourselves about BDSM before jumping right into it. BDSM involves a lot of discussion and consent in order for it to be a safe and enjoyable experience for all partners.
People engaging in BDSM tend to agree on a 'safe word' that signals the other partner to stop what they are doing if things get too painful or uncomfortable. In cases where you are unable to communicate with words, such as when being gagged or choked, it would be best to agree beforehand on a 'safety action' that serves the same purpose as the safety word.
