A friend of mine told me their non-binary, what does that mean?
A person who identifies as non-binary does not consider themselves to be either male or female. Some people, for example, believe they possess characteristics of both males and females. Non-binary persons aren't unsure of their gender identification or following a new craze; non-binary identities have been accepted by civilizations and communities all over the world for millennia.
