What is in-vitro fertilization (IVF)?
In-vitro fertilization is one of the most well-known fertility treatments. The procedure involves combining the sperm and the egg outside of the body in a laboratory condition. Then, the fertilized egg is carefully placed back into the woman's womb so that it can develop. It can be carried out either using your own partner's sperm or egg or a donor's sperm or egg.
